Introduction to Sourdough Course

Aimed at beginner sourdough bakers, this course will give you the skills and confidence to bake your own sourdough at home.

 

The day is busy but the emphasis is on FUN. You will get hands on experience in a relaxed, home environment with tea, coffee, cake and a light lunch along the way.

 

The classes are small with no more than 4 people. This gives you plenty of opportunity to ask questions, see what's going on and time to practice and learn.

You will -​

  • Make and bake a white sourdough loaf

  • Make and bake my sourdough seeded crackers

  • Take home a plastic mixing bowl with sourdough dough to bake at home

  • Take home some sourdough starter and a dough scraper so you can continue your sourdough journey

  • Leave with a print out of all the recipes and information from the day as well as pointers to websites and books to guide you further

Cost - £90

Timings-  9.30am-3pm

  • Friday 5th April

  • Monday 27th May (Bank Holiday)

  • Saturday 3rd August

More dates will be added as the year goes on so do keep checking back. 

If you have a group of friends you'd like to do this with and the dates don't suit then do get in touch. We can see if we can find a mutually convenient time.
